Saraswathi puja in the AVS school (Arunachala village School)

Saraswathi puja, is done every year. She is the goddess for learning and music. Here you can see Giri doing the blessings for every thing in the AVS school. He is working in the office in the school and is part time priest in the big temple in Tiruvannamalai.

 Giri is blessing the tools to repair the school bus.

 Also the bikes get blessed

 The computer lab gets blessed. 15 old computers were a gift from Philips in Bangalore.

 Every child gets blessed. The get a bit of powder on the forehead in the place where according to the Hindu's and the Buddhist wisdom enters our body.

 Every classroom gets blessed

 All the music instruments get blessed. Music and learning music and dance are very much connected with the Goddess Saraswati.

 The kitchen is getting ready to be blessed

 The sign by the road gets blessed

And last but not least the solar panels are being blessed. All this happens once every year. The moment in this picture is when giri pays respect to the holy mountain Arunachala that represents shiva = =consciousness.
